The slip sheet is used as a unit load support device in vehicle delivery and transportation of products. When slip sheets are supported by a pallet board, roller conveyor surface, flat load carrying surface, or a cart or lift truck, the structural strength of the slip sheet supports the product loads weight. With the slip sheet supported by one of these transportation devices the unit load can easily be transported both internally within a facility and externally between two facility locations. It is a thick piece of paper, corrugated fiber, or a plastic upon which load is placed. Handling method of slipsheets is like there are tabs on sheet which are grabbed by a special push or pull - lift truck attachment. It is usually used in place of a pallet for long-distance shipping because their cost is 10-30% of pallet costs and their weight and volume is 1-5% of a pallet. The handling is bit slower as compared to pallets. It has greater load damage within its facility. A special lift truck attachment reduces the vehicle load.
