Selective pallet racks are the most popular type of storage rack. Here the pallets are supported between load supporting beams. In this special attachments and decking can be used to make the racks capable of supporting other types of unit loads besides pallets e.g. coils, drums and skids. Selective racks can be used for the following types of storage: 1) Standard single-deep for storage using a counterbalanced lift truck. 2) Narrow-Aisle storage for using a narrow-aisle lift truck.
