A cantilever rack is designed to handle long pallets such as pipe. A cantilever rack has upright posts, support arms, legs and braces. At several levels a sufficient space is designed between pallets and metal members for the fire sprinklers. It is designed to handle all types of pallets. It is designed as single arm row or double arm rows. The arms extend outward from the upright post and create pallet positions. The pallet positions are serviced by a narrow aisle forklift truck. This rack permits a FIFO product rotation, excellent storage density and excellent product accessibility. On this rack the loads are supported by cantilever arms. It is used for the storage of long loads like bar, stock, pipes, lumber etc. It is similar to pallet racks, except the front upright beams and the front supporting beams are eliminated.
