A pallet jack, also known as a pallet truck or pump truck, is a tool used to lift and move pallets. A manual pallet jack is a hand powered jack device. In this pallet jack there is no electricity used. It is used by a man. A man can lift or move this pallet jack and can travel along with it from one place to another. The manual version is simple forklift prongs, wheels and a handle; it is not like electric types. It is used for lifting or transporting of furniture or other heavy items. Pallets can be taken on or off of vehicles. It travels over a short distance. It requires an employee's physical effort. It has potential of carrying building material and equipment damage and employee injury. It is easy to operate. Maintenance is low and requires no fuel storage or battery charging area. It also incurs low cost. It has normal finished floor surface.
