Wheel conveyors are have a great mobility as it has wheels under the table on which it moves from one place to another. It is on-floor equipment which can be accumulated or can be compressed occupying smaller area. It uses a series of skate wheels mounted on a shaft or axle, where the spacing of the wheels is located depending upon the load being transported every time. The load which is being transported varies in weight and units, depending upon the amount of weight carried on the table; accordingly wheels are arranged in a certain distance. There is more gravity to this conveyor as it upon wheels that can be moved easily without applying much force to it. A slope of gravity movement depends upon load of weight which is carried on it. It is more economical than roller conveyor, as it is not applicable only for heavy-duty applications and as it has high rigidity to the surface. Whereas wheel conveyors are applicable for light-duty applications. It is flexible and is available in expandable versions.
